"It has not changed since my childhood! I grew up going to the Shoneys in Parkersburg, WV. Got the dinner buffet, and it was hot and delicious. It exceeded my expectations! Service was great and the establishment was clean."

"The food was mediocre at best. From the outside the restaurant looks run down and almost abandoned. But I'm still excited I found an operating Shoneys!"

"We had breakfast here while our truck was being worked on. Hadn't been on a Shoney's for years. It was extremely clean! The food was hot, fresh and delicious and it was around 10 am. Our server Cherry was amazing! Best server I've encountered in a while! The atmosphere was awesome. You could hear laughter and the employees were nice to be around.... Keep up the good work! We will definitely be back!"

"Stopped in this evening on our way back home from SC, the buffet was delicious!!! Hands down the best ribs I've eaten at restaurant, whole catfish fried to perfection, & delicious home cooked veggies. Our server Alisha was wonderful!!"

- Robert S.

"I recently visited Shoney's and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed--perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks were filled and checking in without being overbearing. I decided to go with the buffet, and it did not disappoint. There was a great variety of options--everything from classic comfort foods to fresh salads and hot sides. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the green beans tasted like something homemade. The dessert bar was a nice touch too, especially the warm cobbler and soft-serve ice cream. What I appreciated most was how clean and well-maintained everything was. The food was fresh and regularly restocked, which isn't always the case with buffets. It's clear the team takes pride in the service they provide. Shoney's is a solid choice if you're looking for affordable, hearty food and a friendly, down-home vibe. I'll definitely be back!"

"We stopped while on a trip and were very disappointed in the buffet for the price. The hot food selection was minimal with no hot veggies. The fried chicken was good, the biscuits (might have been rolls?) were flat and hard to tell exactly what they were. The garlic breadsticks were made with French toast stick bread and didn't even taste like garlic. The salad bar didn't have any protein meats or shredded cheese on it. The mac and cheese was empty for most of our visit. When they finally filled it, I was the first one to get some. The cheese consistency was like soup. No noodles were visible even though it was a fresh pan. I had to scoop and drain the spoon multiple times just to get about 10 noodles. I didn't eat what I put in my bowl because it was too sketchy. Overall, $85 for 4 people was not worth it at all."
